Knitting Stitch
Knitting is one of the oldest forms of art that we are doing and these days it is gaining popularity because of the new trend and latest fashion designs. In a knit stitch one side of the stitch looks very different from the other side as it is formed by making loops which interweave with one another and one after the other. The purl knitting stitch is also very similar to the knit stitch however, there are some variations.

These stitches generally will resemble the ‘v’ pattern when viewed from the knit side of the design. Although purl stitch is similar to that of the knit stitch but it looks like brick face when viewed from the side of the pattern. The stockinette knitting stitch is one of the most common of all and all it consists of is knitting one row and then purling the next above that and so on.
